Easter is approaching, and the main component of the Easter table, Easter eggs, will gradually become more active.

Some people prefer traditional and natural dyes to dye eggs, while others prefer artificial dyes. There are many ways to dye eggs, and today in this blog we will discuss the most common method, dyeing with Endro roots.

It is preferable to let the eggs stand at room temperature before cooking. Put it in cold water 15-20 minutes before cooking.

In order for the paint to be evenly distributed on the egg and not to be cut. It is preferable to wash the eggs.

To make a decoction of Endro roots, wash a bundle of Endro well, then finely chop or crush it and add it to the egg-boiler.

Add the outer leaves of the onion (preferably the red variety).

Add 2-3 teaspoons of salt and half a liter of water.

Put the pot on the fire, add half a glass of vinegar and boil for 15-20 minutes.

Then remove from heat and cool.

Add 15 eggs to this cooled mass and boil for 15-20 minutes. Carefully remove the hard-boiled eggs from the saucepan and place them in a bowl filled with cold water. Soak them in cold water for 10 minutes so that the dyed eggs peel off easily.

After removing from cold water, dry and polish each egg with a clean cloth dipped in oil.
