In case of an air conditioner that needs to be cleaned, you can do the following instructions: 

1. Locate your A/C filter

Most air conditioners have a filter in the center but of course, every brand is different. Check the A/C instructions and act accordingly.

2. Turn off the A/C while working

3. Clean the filter with a vacuum usually

A large amount of dust settles on the filter. You can vacuum most of it. 

4. Soak the filter in a 50/50 mixture of water and vinegar 

Again, read your AC instructions before you do so. Note that some air conditioner filters are not allowed to get wet. If your filter is washable, soak it in a mixture of even water and vinegar for about an hour. Drain the water and drain it very well. 

5. Install new filter after cleaning
